Death Valley. The name alone conjures up mental images of barren mountains, salt flats, dunes and harsh desert landscape. The hottest place on earth, partially below sea level is also home to an unmatched array of texture, color, incredible geology and early American history. Capturing its beauty is an artistic and physical challenge, but well worth the effort as evidenced here.
